As someone who has personally test fitted peices for AMD,I can tell you first hand that I have yet to see any other company go to the lenghts to make sure things fit correctly,that AMD has. I was not involved with any of the 68-70 b body test fitting,(except for the 70 Charger front valence pan,which was tooled from my NOS one)but I was involved with the test fitting of the E body fenders,and they retooled them more than 10 times until they fit correctly. I had heard that there was an issue with the first run of B body outer wheel houses,but I heard that that was corrected on the second run.
