Bob was well in contention, running mid-5s like the other top contenders. In eliminations, he went up against Gary in the Silverfish. In a very strange race, Gary's mechanical problems proved to be Bob's undoing. The 'fish was unable to do a burnout - it just wouldn't happen. This caught Bob off guard, and he wasn't ready when the tree flashed and was dead late. He admitted that he brain-farted, but I've got to tell you, he's a class act like the other fellas I met. A very sweet Dart too, I might add!
