Big congratulations to Tony Russo (n2omstr) who takes it all on a solo final tonight against a wounded silverfish that was unable to stage. Trans/converter issues plagued the Robbins in eliminations, and things got gradually worse to the point that things were too bad to make it to the starting line at the end.

Thanks to all who traveled and gave it their best effort. We all wish there was a bigger turnout, but not bad at all for a first event. Breakages and hardships will always be a part of life, and the economy had a lot to do with participation and attendance, no doubt. Big kudos to Scott and Gary Robbins for getting this whole deal organized and to all the sponsors for taking their chances with a fledgling race. It is much appreciated by those in attendance, and I hope that this will be an annual event that will grow in size and recognition.

Again, it was good meeting some of the fellow Moparts family, and it was all about having a good time in the long run.
