I got a few supplies the other day. I could not stand the titanic looking factory water pump and my planed belt routing wont allow a full on electric water pump, I decided to go with a cheap cast aluminum one from 440 source. "
During my buildup I found that the Source water pump to be the problem with my cooling system. I replaced the pump with an over the counter unit and all is good.
This is in a 70 Charger RT,4spd,500RB engine with cheap alum radiator,stock 7 blade clutch fan,195 stat.
Never gets above 200 even in stop and go traffic...that is even without a shroud. But I will install one anyways for numerous reasons.
