Mike, I'll take better shots of the rod when we take it out. The other end of the broken rod is MIA


Without the big end of the rod, it will be hard to tell if it was a bearing failure (signs of overheating) or a rod/bolt failure. And why????

Again from the pics it looks like #3 to me, not #4.
