I put the same k-member from the same people in my 68 charger.
Everything is very tight, just like yours. It's just the way they are, especially the TTI's. We had to modify mine/clearance to fit at the steering box & torsion bar area (2-1/4 primaries).
The Indy valve covers are larger than stock so no surprise there, even the other's are very close.
