Are you using the correct brackets? there are two styles, one for E body that puts the engine in a different place...than yours..



It should be set up for the 69 b-body. Right now its at the body shop. We have it as a roller now. I hope to get it home in the next few days. The valve cover is an easy fix. Steering box has several issues. I may be able to shim the gear box if thats possible. Or maybe shim the motor mounts? The valve cover can be milled and a small bump in the tower should get me an easy 1/4 inch of clearance.
