I always try the simple things.

1) Fan belt tight?
2) Air side of the radiator clean?
3) Lower radiator hose firm?
4) Thermostat functional?

Then you can get to the more drastic measures like pulling the radiator and internally cleaning it. Face it, if this is a stock engine, Chrysler built thousands of them without heating problems.
