The rubbing on the front/bottom corner of the wheel arch when turning is a common problem but folks have found specs that work.

It's a damn headache to be honest.

If you look at Michelin all seasons, I agree they are not for handling. Now if you move up to a Michelin max performance summer they are very good. But if you want max stick go with there Cup tire. They are very sticky very soft and shot tire life but dam they stick. One down fall with the cup tires is they are only 130 wear rated so not legal for SCCA Cam class doing autocross.
