I question why you want a shop recommendation if you know all this and every bad person in the industry, could you point me to a shop?

Because the shops that I have good long-term relationships with focus primarily on collision work, and while some of them would likely do the resto work I'm looking for, it would be unreasonable of me to expect something this extensive to be done by a collision-focused shop within the timeframe I'd like it to be done. When I had my wagon painted, that was an easy, straightforward job...new windshield, 2 days of body work, and a repaint. That was it. That was easy for my friend's shop to squeeze in as filler work. The Valiant is nowhere near that.
