I don't see anyone talking about the engine. From what I've seen, the furthest forward I've seen mentioned is the input bushing so far.
Yes, for the record, I've pretty much ruled out anything to do with the engine (or the clutch, for that matter) because the noise does not change in frequency or speed itself. Further, it is not affected by RPM of the engine or whether the clutch is in or out. Doesn't care where the gear shift is either. Thanks!
