The OP's setup appears to be an adapter bearing, not bushing. The grease, bread, toilet paper packing might just ooze past the individual rollers when smacked. The internal-jaw puller Jim posted works every time. Harbor Freight has them.
Good point.... I saw it was a bearing but thought this method might still work without purchasing a puller..
