On top of that every circle track pump I have seen only uses the 2 I do as well. The pumps sit flat against the bracket and have no way of wiggling. Feel free to do whatever you want with it, but from what I have seen you will not gain anything.
someone should make an aluminum bracket for this pump on a big block and sell it here to us on moparts! whats the lbs difference between this and a saginaw with an aluminum pully?
