The 70 model was the "split bumper" version. I also think it is a wonerful design. Much better than the 72, 73 or 74 model. And to this date easily the fastest Z-28 ever built.
No, the split bumper was the ralley sport option. You could also get a full bumper 1970 Camaro, in either plain, Z/28, or SS (super sport) configuration
The split bumper was standard on all RS Camaros from 70-73...
