I still haven't finished the trunk but I did start the pre-assembly to work the bugs out. (and to satisfy that desire to be able to start and drive the car)
I will try to assemble it without refinishing EVERYTHING almost like a dry run to see that everything fits and works before paint/finish.

This seems almost a type of insanity; to put the car together just to take it back apart again to put it back together
