I used to fry clutches until I put a little more gear in the car.A 4.10 gear would be alot easier on the clutch.You are trying to move alot of weight with not much mechanical advantage so something has to give.If you love your transmission do not put a mega stiff clutch in front of it
I put a Street-Twin in my car and split a brand new Liberty 3-4 slider on the third pass.
