I mounted my Magnafuel 275 pump and filter in the right rear corner of the rear sub frame and rear valance behind the stock fuel tank, my tank has a center sump welded onto the bottom of the stock tank so that location puts the pump behind and almost the same level as the sump outlet

I have seen some guys cut a hole into the trunk floor to have the top of the pump protrude into the trunk so the pump doesn't hang down to far

It is way better to have the pump lower and behind the tank outlet than in front and or above the outlet, let gravity help feed the pump inlet
