fair enough. I was curious as to whether or not the car was a Stage I car. Basically it is either a GS with Stage II components or a Stage I with Stage II components.....either way calling it a '70 Stage II is a bit misleading and I just wanted to point out to those that don't know that they never made one.

anyhow, just having fun and it's all good.

Merry Christmas,

Tell ya what, I sure miss my 71 GS 455. That car had such a smooth ride and globs of power. Threw in a 3K stall converter, Hooker headers, and a blue printed KB Stage 1 cam, aluminum intake and ohhhhhh my!!! Car also had the dual exhaust outlets through the bumper which was nice feature on that big honking rear bumper.

Another favorite was the Bader vs. Dudek shootout... The firestorm that article stirred in 1984 still carries to this day and the article ran back when I had the GS so I'd lay the Mucsle Car Review magazine in the back seat at car shows...always drew good conversation. The GS is gone, but still have the magazine and the tag which hangs on the wall of the garage
