How much open and closed spring pressure do you plan on running ?
What is the intended useage of this engine?

I sold all my B-1m/c stuff along with the mega block but I was going to use the 7/16 tapered instead of 3/8" straight because of high spring pressures(around 1000 or more open) but I clearanced the heads for them

The bigger the pushrod, the better! Steve Morris, told me that he runs 9/16" pushrods in most of his larger engines. He said that he gained 43 hp from switching from 1/2" to 9/16" on his engine.

I have 7/16 in mine with a low deck and Indy heads.
I think the only place I ran into problems was the end of the heads #1 #2 #7 #8 exhaust.
Had to clearance them a bit.
