Some say a t-brake will improve 60' others same not much difference . My engine was originally built for a car with a four speed . I`m running a 'Glide with a 4600 stall converter. I think I`ll pick up with my combination with the brake leaving at higher RPM. No ?
Opinions VERY Welcome !

the only way I know to find out is to put the pedal on the floor and let the button go, compare the times slips and see

Your glide with a brake will get TREED by a 727/904 with a brake .. if he can hook-it.

What is your combo? Power, weight, cam, heads, CID, etc.

That stall speed sounds low for a racing Powerglide application.

My thoughts exactly. Was the converter built for the application or purchased second hand? Is that actual stall speed as tested? Converter is 90% of making a glide work.

Not sure if you changed the motor from the prior owner but my records show peak tq is 5400 rpm. You need to have the flash about 100 rpm OVER the peak tq and this is especially true with a glide (taller 1st gear). Loosen that thing up some!

Nope didn`t change anything since the day Tweety picked it up from Barton`s . That`s the converter I got from JW when I bought the Glide c/w Brake converter and "wheel" all from the numbers I gave them .

It's right around 5500. Mine should be a little higher but my sixty is a little less than it should be too.
