I`ve known Bob for years, been to his shop and house and his 318 is insane to say the least.

Yeah, how about Mazzolini's 318? Just a little stock block 318 with cast iron heads and a QJet carb.

Yep, runs about as good as $15,000 S/S motor in a $40,000 Super Stocker should!

I guess I probably dont half as much as Steve,Brian or most of the people who post here. I've gotten allot out of Steve's articles as well as Brian's posts. For people like me this information is useful. Not everybody will share it. So keep it coming!

I've seen and heard the engine that Brian built for Louis (Mad Dart) and it was sweet. I think that one is putting out a bit more than the one this post is about. Hey, Lous, when are you taking it to the track? I'm hoping to have the Duster ready by June, maybe earlier.

I don't know if all have followed this from Brian's first post on the RHS headed 410 Pump gas engine and his dyno work on the engine. If you have not you should go to the thread that prompted Brian to install the 410 in his own car and take it to the track. I have been on this site for quite a while now and I have always thought that Brian does a good job of sharing his knowledge with informative posts and trying to lend a hand where he could with racers problems. So for someone to come on here and insinuate he was only posting for personal gain and his efforts were pathetic gets under my skin.

Good to see that RHS heads running well! I have a set on my 2000 Dak because I broke a valve spring on my stockers and they were "only" $1,300 to the door and will be good for a decent build up when I go through the motor one day (125,000 miles currently).

My ET's in my sig are with the stock heads...

Brian is one of the most sharing guys on this site. He, RyanJ, CompetitionWedge, BG's crew, S/ST3040, Best Machine, Mike@ MM, Koffels and lots of others put out a lot of great info for FREE. If by doing that they pick up some business, GOOD!

These guys bust their butts doing what they do every day. The fact that they take time out of their already busy day to try and help guys here on Moparts is a testament to their character and their quality. Thanks for all of the help over the years!!

Yeah, it went bye bye a week after that issue hit the stands.
Infact, I've sold a couple of them since then. Exactly as the article build.

We're doing another shortblock like that, but this time we're porting eddy heads, street roller cam and taking the budget deal a step further to see if we can make 100HP more with different heads (still somewhat reasonably priced)and roller cam.
We'll also be comparing the rpm air gap to the victor intake and also EFI and probably testing F&B's EFI sixpack setup too.

Should be a jam packed article and maybe a full 8 pages long!

Nice, looking forward to it.

"Hey mister, something's wrong with your car, it idles roughly" - number one comment I got in Israel when daily driving a 70 Barracuda with a lopey cam.

Currently working on - 1966 Dodge A100 van 318/auto
Finally - disc brakes on the front.
In the plans - rear disc brakes, B&M 250 blower

Brian,
I would say for sure testing a 6bbl EFI system from F&B. A dry six pack can be a lot of fun! (unless you're talking about beer)

I sell fuel injection, but Ill still rebuild your carb if I have to...

I am looking forward to it. When will that bad boy be finished?
How about the 1000cfm TB for our 393?? Oh, I'm getting ready to build a sb for Hotchkis to put into their 70 challenger and I really wanted to use your 6 pack setup but they wanted to keep it carbed.

But we're a go for the article deal. Good to see you on here Bruce!!
