moparx "Butt Crack Bob" Joined: Sep 2003 Posts: 19,479 north of coder	i would use a heat gun as transman suggests. i have used a torch before, and although it works, it makes a smokey, gooey, stinky mess in the process. if a heat gun is not available, a box cutter with a new blade [or two] can cut the grommet in several places, freeing up the pvc valve enough to get it out.

Soak it, the valve cover, in hot water, 160F + and remove it carefully so you don't get burnt Mr.Cab Racing and winning with Mopars since 1964. (Old F--t, Huh)
