Not sure of issues with to tight a gap but the wheel must have the arrow pointed clockwise or it will cause issues. Thankyou, arrow is going in the right direction.

Trying to figure out if too tight would cause the engine to stop pulling right around the 1200 foot mark through the traps. Same thing every pass but pulls fine through all the first and second gear but feels like I'm out of throttle pedal. And yes .050 not .50. No that isn't the trigger wheel. You have a different problem, maybe running out of fuel or some other issue.

To small an air gap is not going to cause any issue other than possible interference of parts. You might wanna recheck rotor phasing for sure...

To small an air gap is not going to cause any issue other than possible interference of parts. You might wanna recheck rotor phasing for sure... MSD calls out a .050to.080 gap range, I set mine at .060 and forget it, and I am with Al on the rotor phasing.

U just regapped it to .055
