Well it is time to install a mid platen on my turtle, running a small block Mopar with a 727 transmission.
Any suggestions on a mid plate get and what to do about spacing the converter to the flex plate? ARP make a longer torque converter bolt in a 7/16" for us Mopar people?

I use .090 for the mid plate.. just open up
the starter area so the starter sets against
the bell housing.. I never used a longer snout
on any of my convs

Did you use a flex plate shim or spacers between converter and flexplate?

Saw you posting on that "other" site.I am installing a midplate myself right now. After 15+ years with an engine plate and a rubber trans mount I'm overdue. The midplate came with the crank spacer. It came untrimmed so you can shape it the way you want.

HEMI-ITIS has no cure.
My condition is fully BLOWN!!

No... it pulls the conv out of the pump .090.. I
never had any issues that way.. if you want you
can shim the conv back with washers

Wow I thought I trimmed my cross member, hope I cut enough.

I'm using the Milodon rear sump Truck pan.
