In the past, whever I needed to remove the blower from the intake I would need 3 friends come over and "man" the serp belts to lift the blower off and set it into the cart.Kudos and thanks to Nitro Buzzard Ken for hooking me up with an "I" beam and trolly to go with it.Ken also installed the beam on the ceiling and fabricated the brackets to mount the Harbor Freight $50 25000 lb winch to the trolley and the bracket to hold the supporting straps attached to the blower. I can now R&R the blower myself
damn! how heavy is that setup??

Mr. P,it's for the blower only.I would not lift my iron headed hemi with that,It's a Chinese winch
Nice set up for what your doing.
Though the winch is most likely strong enough to pull the motor too, I would want to know what and how the
I Beam is attached to before I would try it.

I remember wrenching my back when I tried to carefully set my 8-71 down over the aluminum studs, by myself. My back was hurting for a few days.

Is this the slowest Blown Hemi in the world ?
For a 3900 lb car that gets driven a few thousand miles a year it could be one of the slowest I have not tried more than 10 lbs of boost just yet. 113 mph in the 1/8 and 140 in the 1/4 almost respectable. I'm in the process of installing a racepak, then I won't be so nervous about throwing more boost at it.
Ive got a question. What am I doing wrong? my car ran 9.88@ 136.40 with a 1.37 60 foot. And it weighs 3750 race ready. Does that blower add top end mph to go 3.5 mph faster at 3900 lbs? Maybe I'll have to get me one of them...
