In the past, whever I needed to remove the blower from the intake I would need 3 friends come over and "man" the serp belts to lift the blower off and set it into the cart.Kudos and thanks to Nitro Buzzard Ken for hooking me up with an "I" beam and trolly to go with it.Ken also installed the beam on the ceiling and fabricated the brackets to mount the Harbor Freight $50 25000 lb winch to the trolley and the bracket to hold the supporting straps attached to the blower. I can now R&R the blower myself
HEMI-ITIS has no cure. My condition is fully BLOWN!!

I'm surprised you didnt use a cherry picker and your engine leveler... but that looks good.. but I guess you'll pull the engine with that set up... I was gonna put one of those in my shop but I wouldnt use it

I don't know how they delt with them "tender fenders" back in the day. I have seen elbow marks on some light weight fenders

I use a home made bar similar to yours with a pair of serpentine belts to lift my blower with the cherry picker. I made it to where I can pull the blower with the hood on. Not much room to lift it clear of the studs, but just enough.
Master, again and still

Mr. P,it's for the blower only.I would not lift my iron headed hemi with that,It's a Chinese winch
I have the same winch.. it'll lift your engine easy.. I lifted my diesel engine out of my crawler loader with it

Really???? I wouldn't trust it,heavy cherry picker for my nerves Plus it would be a "dead lift",wouldn't think the winch could do it

I did use a block to double the load but I mainly did it to slow down the lift being I was working by my self and had to make sure everything was clearing during the lift... but it would have lifted it straight
