All the little" teeth" are a pain in the rear to get straight and polished!
This one had quite a few bumps and bruises when I started...
and you're right they do let a lot of air in for radiator and the intake, definitely SUCKS in a good way
Nice job

Here is the headlight surround. It had lots of little dents around the perimeter and some deep scratches on the outside edge. I've started masking off the black to be painted but wow, what a job. Starting to think an airbrush might be the way to go?

I've got a '65 Satellite grille and headlight doors I need to get started on refinishing…. I'm comfortable straightening, sanding, buffing and polishing, but..
…may I ask you to share your method of stripping the anodizing off before you start polishing? I tried oven cleaner and it was... well… less than a success.
Much obliged, - Art

So after removing the anodizing you don't have to do any treatment or anything.. Just polish and keep up with it. Anodizing was just to protect the aluminum . I appreciate the help just don't want to screw up my trim if I do this.

The grille in my '63 330 has been done for 5+ years and still looks good.
It is garaged 99% of the time, though.
If the car is going to sit out in the weather you could always have it re-anodized.
