Here is the rundown of my combo:

-440 STOCK STROKE
-forged pistons
-10,5:1 compression
-440 source stealth heads, port matched bowl blended.
-Performer RPM intake port matched
-440 source adjustable rockers 1,6 ratio
-I have a 750 DP holley carb, although I think it might be too small, or is it OK?
-I plan on using 70.71 HP exhaust manifolds
-full 2,5" exhaust

4,10 gears
4 speed transmission

this is going in a 71 cuda in full street trim.

I was thinking it might be the ticket to use a solid flat tappet cam in here? No, I dont want to spend more on a roller.

you'll need more carb. Call Scott Brown. He has a nice solid grind that will work good it's 540-548 lift.

I'd run something in the 550 lift range & 250s @50 if your wanting somewhat killer. The .557 MP cam would be on the wilder side for a solid. I ran the last one in my 451 & really liked it, you really need headers if you want a killer type cam.

I agree. With the manifolds the MP .528 solid would be hard to beat. The .509 hyd would work well also.

none of the above. i don't like a lot of overlap on cast manifolds.

242@ .050 on a 110lca. Lift will be about .560 gross and only about .014 lash.

M.P. 528 solid.

With cast iron stock exhaust manifolds, it is said to work very well.
Iīve heard that so many times. So thatīs the cam I would pick.

I had already bought this cam for this engine:

http://www.summitracing.com/parts/CCA-CL21-225-4/

But I started this thread because I thought it was a bit small and I was leaving power on the table. This is a street car but that will see some strip action. It is a 71 cuda with a 4 speed and 4,10 gears like I said.

How much power do you think Id be making with the above cam, and how much more do you think I could gain by going to a solid like the MP .528" or the Scott Brown?

remeber the 528 is going to be about 500 once you adjust for lash. I ran both in a 440-6 (528 and the 548) the 548 felt much stronger.
The one you have now seems like a good cam. Just run it
