Depends on the track, but some of the tracks I have been to, if track personel see a pit vehicle with no sticker, you park it, right then. Next time your out the gate.

As far as getting nearly run over by pit vehicles.....now I know there are some idiots on pit vehicles, but there seem to be far more idiots walking around in the way. These are pit "roads", this ain't the mall, the park, a car show, or anywhere else you go to take a leisurely stroll, or where pedestrians have the right of way. I am trying to get back to my trailer to make another round...STAY OUT OF THE MIDDLE OF THE ROAD and try watching what is going on around you.

I agree to a point, but those "idiots" walking around are called race fans and with out those "idiots" the tracks, venders and manufactures would suffer economically. The "idiots" bring "pure profit"to race venues and the boost the economy of the host communities.
Having attended many races, other than young kids being allow to act stupid on pit vehicles the most dangerous aspect is racers travaling through the pit areas at high speeds and sometimes not paying attention to people traffic.
