What are your thoughts on adjustable secondary kits, jetting the secondary side? What about the fuel lines? They run from $18.00 to over $100. I will be in and out of the primary jetting some I am sure.....

Flexible fuel line to enable one less step in opening up the bowls for tuning.
The secondary plate and adjustable secondary lid are both good items to make tuning easier but they only make an easier to tune carb.

This may contradict the first reply but the truth is I have all those "easy to tune" features on my Holley Street Avenger on my daily driven truck.
Fact is I opened the box 4 years ago, installed it and so far not touched it. Oh ya, I did set the idle speed. It was a nice shiney new carb and now it looks 100 years old but performing like new.

Another small tip that I do but rarely have to touch. Remove the secondary stop screw from underneath. Replace it with a set screw that has a hex in it facing up. Now you can adjust your secondary to bleed in a bit more air if you need to. I'm just not into drilling primary blades.
