Just curious, who was the supplier for Year One's quarter panels from a few years back, was it a Japanese/foreign manufacturer and thus a no name brand? The common complaint was the tickness of the gauge of metal Year One's supplier was producing, are the Goodmarks at least equal to OEM in tickness. Tickness?!?!

Sometimes I wonder, these repro parts that everyone seems to hate to install, when all is said and done, these are the same cars we all continue to drool over, so is it that big of a deal. Maybe its a case of we the spectators don't see or know the flaws, but you as the owner knows what is wrong. I can feel for the newest Goodmark owners and all the struggles you go through to make these quarter panels fit, because once you cut your original quarter off at a certain spot...its too late to go back. Most of you guys here are the best and proud to be a member and your efforts on these restos is to be highly commended. Remember: men are the best improvisers, and with a welder in hand...anything is possible. You're the living proof (drool!)
