I remember a while back NHRA(I think) talked to W.J. about forward facing scoops on the Prostock cars. He said in the testing he/they did it took a certain number of hp to push it through the air but I guess the rewards are worth it...ram air effect. In the yellow Demons case the cowl hood was put on so it would be more aerodynamic.
