IMO there is no need to change any components, just address the now leaking head gaskets and use the manifold of your choice with the carbs of your choice. Since he's elected to use the same cam, it won't make 800hp new heads or not since he wants it to fit under a hood, which is why I went with the cool Marine style intake in the first place. That engine ran so well and was super driveable which is what the original build intent WAS. A couple of grand and I could've cleaned the carbs/rebuilt/checked the timing curve and verified on the dyno. He'd have it in his car by now if the car was ready for it. J.Rob

Hey JRob I have a mild 426 that currently has a Stage V manifold on it with 2-600 edelbrocks one to one linkage. That's fine for racing but I also have a new marine manifold that I was thinking of installing with progressive linkage since it's basically a street car. Any tips on carb setup? I didn't know if the carbs needed staggered jetting with this manifold?

Thanks Mike
