With the 5 inner bolts removed, you may have to pry the cover that was bolted on off. At this point, that cover, and the wheel bearing to housing fit (and accumulated crud build up) are the only things holding the axle in place. Thar cover plate may have some pretty close tolerances over the 5 studs and the cover itself may have to be worked off of the studs before the axle will come out. At this point, you treat it like you would removing any more modern 8 3/4 axle shaft removal after you have removed the axle shaft bearing retainer nuts.
