How many RPM are the Aussie Pro Stocks turning?
I've always been fascinated by high RPM motors< I remember the first time I ever saw the tachometer of a turbo F1 car, the sweep started at 4000RPM !!!
Mid 10K to a hair over 11K is fairly common. An acquanintance does a few of the GM engines that run currently, he's tested up to about 11400 rpm from memory. Haven't spoken to him in a little while though. The Mopar's don't turn quite as hard, but tended to make the most power of the three. Finding a good block for them is the bigest problem.
