Friend of mine (gone now- RIP, Yank) was from a small town in New York not far from Woodstock. Said there was a highway in the mountains that had a bad curve with a very, very deep drop-off. Seems I remember him saying there were vehicles from back in the 40s? and newer at the bottom. Only accessible by hiking in from the bottom. Many years ago, he and his brother got paid to hike in and bring out the brand-new wheels & tires off an 18 wheeler that had gone over. I would have loved to have been able to go up there with him sometime when we were both younger but as usual, life kinda got in the way.
