As a kid growing up in nor cal I recall reading about a fire team putting out a brush fire found a car with remains of an elderly couple that had meen missing several years. The steep hillside off (iirc) 175 had so much brush they could not open doors, nor crawl out with the windows down. It had become pretty muh a pack rat nest,
