My mom didn't get her drivers license until she was 45! Always lived where one wasn't needed, and she was born in 1929. After she finally decided it was something she wanted to do, she used that ability quite often until she had three small accidents at age 88 and handed me the keys to her car. I here all the time about kids wanting nothing to do with driving and believe it will be the death knell of automobile manufacturers eventually... twocents
