I'm running an F3D102 on a 400 inch small block with methanol and a gear drive. It makes enough power to run 4.30's at 168 in the eighth so maybe 2000ish hp. Methanol is the way to go - no intercooler, no ice tanks, simple piping, cheap etc. That size engine is going to want an F3 for sure - something like a 136. I would say 2600-2800hp if you push it some. Don't be afraid of higher compression and you'll need lots of fuel - mechanical pump and probably two injectors per cylinder. You'll make enough power to crush any weak parts from the flywheel back especially if it's heavy - so be ready for an expensive converter, transmission, 40 spline axle set up and so on....
