Beware of the mass rebuilt TQ's They disassemble a whole pile of them, and very rarely do any of the bases, bowl or top section go back on the same carb. Back when I used to hoard TQ's at swapmeets, I would not buy one that had the little rebuilder sticker on it-no matter how nice it looked.. Look for one that doesn't look like it has ever been apart before. Most of the time the virgin carbs-the 10 screws that hold it together, you can see that they haven't had a screwdriver in them. Most of the time the rebuilder didn't use a good screwdriver and the slots in the screws will be boogered up. Now you know the little TQ secret!
