Yeah, forgot to mention gears. I have 3:91s and a 727 w/a 3000 stall converter. The kickdown was adjusted a little heavy, and when I backed it off a bit to get a better shift spread I could feel the carb bouncing in and out of the idle circuit. I changed out the step up springs to correct that, which worked but I am thinking my rods are still a little too thin. Sounds like you had to go in the same direction. I'm really digging the new boosters though!
