It looks like I may be able to get the pan in with the studs still installed. I found the problem is that the pickup tube is actually hitting the side of the oil pan and stopping it from lining up with the studs. It's actually in line with the oil pan rail on the engine block. I double checked and it's the correct matching pickup for the oil pan. Did anybody have to modify their tube or change anything with the oil pump?
