Has anyone ever installed this pan with the engine still in the car? I don't know if my issue is because I have studs for my oil pan, but I can't even get the windage tray in place and the oil pan doesn't want to go in place either. I tried rotating the pickup tube to get the windage tray in place, but it still won't go. Not sure if there are any other tricks to make this work. Thanks
I cheated and solved the problem by going with an external pickup version of the pan. I can easily get the pan off and on now by just removing the centerlink.
