I wouldn't get discouraged about what you have to work with. This motor will make a ton of steam, it will just have its' limits, like everything else. personally, I don't have a clue where a person could use over 900 hp on the street, which is what you have the capability to build, even with a few restrictions like compression and cam choice. I say enjoy what you will get, as it will be a whole lotta fun!!!
P.S. The various port volumes are what work best with each heads intended purpose, roughly. My castings are opened up to 365 cc for alky and high rpm.
