Looks like b.s. to me but I dont know these cars that well
In 1979 the Road Runner package required the 318 2bbl with the 360 4bbl optional.
In 1980 the Road Runner package came with both the slant and 318 (the 360 was no longer available)
A friends neighbor had a 1980 slant RR, red, with gold stripe accents.
Nice looking car, tan interior, wheels with trim rings, we couldn't believe it was a 6 'till we checked the VIN.
I'd take one today, kind of like the 1980 front end.
