Here is some interesting info to add to this thread, one of the 1970 Hemi Plum Crazy Purple Challenger Convertibles (that has the R/T hood) that Dave Blake now owns, that car was originally ordered by a farmer in eastern Montana and he ordered it with the Shaker hood but the car was being held up because of the Shaker hood option so the farmer decided to go with the R/T hood so he could get his car built.
I am surprised he didn't have a Shaker hood put on at a later date when they became available again.
