My guess is that it wouldn't live very long at the track. It might live for years on the street. This car already ate the 8.75 rearend and that was back when it had a stockish 440 in it. The guy grabbed second gear and crunch went the 8.75. So he is anticipating that the four speed will fail at some point with the new 505.
