They can be tough to find but ya can get crazy deals on beef in bulk. Stock up on other stuff and screw how deep the snow gets. That's the plan. There is a farm about 12 miles away sells Angus beef and pork at $3.50/pound as it hangs. They butcher it and package it for that price as well. And of course there are white tail deer all around there. You don't need a license to hunt on your own land.
