VSTwister, that looks great. When I first read your thread starter, I thought you were contemplating painting the entire vehicle in a flat or satin finish. So basically, you went with a factory-type setup. When my '72 Cuda is painted some day, it will need to have the V21 hood paint treatment done, since it was not a tape stripe for the blackout.

I've heard many claim that the original paint for blackout on the Mopars was Oganisol, which is heavily textured (Oganisol was discontinued years ago BTW). I can say with certainty that the Organisol was NOT used on all Mopar blackouts as some claim. For example, my first car was a 1970 Cuda that I purchased in 1976 & it was all original paint. The tail panel finish was not a rough, textured finish. It was a smooth satin-like finish. I have also seen AAR's & T/A's that were original, & the hoods & fender tops were finished the same as my Cuda tail panel.
