I restored this car over 20 years ago. I had never done a car before and it took 3 years. I had just giving up drinking and this became my new addiction. I needed something to fill in all the lost time. Great motivation! I made the mistake of trying to make it perfect and that made it hard to drive afterwards because of the fear of it getting damaged after all that work. The fear was justified because after 3 years work it only had 30 miles on it when the hood got hit by a falling acorn and chipped it down to the primer. Driven less than 2500 miles in over 20 years now. When it was worn out I'd drive it anywhere and as you see was still a good looking 10 footer. Don't try and be perfect build something you can enjoy. I doubt I could be as motivated today as I was then.
